Autonomous Engineering Stack
Botball competitions eliminate human tele-operation. Our robots must sense, calculate, and act completely unassisted.
Embedded C & Microcontroller Logic
Our robots run on KIPR Wombat controllers powered by Linux microprocessors. Software is authored in pure C, utilizing concurrent threads for real-time motor velocity control, multi-sensor polling, and state-machine transitions.
Optical Camera Tracking & Position Correction
An onboard optical camera processes live video streams to identify game piece colors, track coordinates on the board, and adjust heading vectors dynamically to compensate for physical field drift.
Sensor Fusion & Custom 3D Fabrication
Using infrared distance sensors, optical encoders, and touch arrays, our system closed-loops position tracking. Mechanical chassis, motor mounts, and specialized grippers are custom designed in CAD and 3D printed in-house.
